I will, you will

Don't say i didn't warn you
Because the evidence is here.

One fine day I'll storm into your uni class
But i'll come and go so fast
No one will me through the glass
No record left of the past
Except your empty space left on the grass.

I'll smash down the door, six men at my back
Suited and polished, to the shades wearing black
Yes, I'll swing by, with my shoes going clack
I'll lift you right up as i would a backpack
And we'll take the concrete, so no human can track.

Or one cloudy evening i'll hold up your workplace
With bandits right behind me, and a scarf on my face
I'll point with my sword and demand you shift pace
Seize your wrist once you're out, and you'll earn no disgrace
Load you in the van, then vanish with no trace.

That's right, appear with no warning, bandit mob like your foes
Making sure get what i want, clothed in disguise from my nose
Robber style, sunnies, gloves, all the way to my toes
You'll come with me, yes, right now, or else who knows
And i'll have you at last, no thoughts to where this goes.

Better still I'll come knocking at your church one dark night
When the thunder and lightning storm reaches its height
With the rain and the wind lashing, aye, what a sight
That i'll be, but this time i won't fight
Because i'll wait for you to bring me to the light.

You'll grab me in from the cold and the wet
Not me snare you out with an ingenious net
Cover me with a towel, if not shower me let
Calm me with smooth voice, telling me not to fret
And take me back to the days we first met.

Thieving Lunatic Nutcase

I hate to break your heart my friend
Oh, my true friend, till daylight's end
But i must tell, lest you find out
Some way what I'm dishonourably about
Yes, I must tell, I am a thief:
One that brings the vulnerable grief.
It did not start with me, I swear!
I just pray that my end is near.
For I am not just a thief
But lunatic as well, this brief
Life has been unfair to me
Close your eyes and you will see
If you take my hand I will show
All the places I hate and love to go
The line between real and the dream
That old and twisted frail seam
Keeps fraying with the pull of day
Threats to throw safety of you away
Yet while it is there, or you are here
Somehow I can abide and sleep there
Without a fear of danger to fall
No destruction to any nor to all.
Yes, one stole my heart,
Without tact nor mercy it did depart
But how is it I have one more
You bring with you from sea to shore?
I swore my stealing days came to an end
Yet now i can no longer pretend
To be what i had once been
For You have come and washed me clean.

The Last Prophet

Today i slew a billion leaves
Their bodies flew before my scythe
And fell to form a carpet beneath my feet
There were as many as there are of Abraham's descendants
But i hacked them into gazillions more.
Woe unto those who stood in my path
They did not last a minute long.
Strong and weak collapsed alike
As i brought about the wrath of The Holy One.
Yea, righteous judgement upon the wicked (wicket... fence?)
The face they last saw was mine
Ay, mine their face of death and doom
Sending them into the eternal gloom.
No mercy from blade of the Spirit
Who after so many long and dark years
Has arisen to release the light where there once was shadow.

Alone-- Inspired by the forgotten melody of final fantasy!

Without you i am a violin without strings
A piano without keys
A shape without a life
A plate without food
A clock without hands
A tree without leaves
A cocoon without a butterfly
A storm without the rain
A castle without people
A heart without a beat
A car without an engine
A mouth without a voice
A phone without credit
A song without lyrics
A phrase without meaning
A TV without colour
A photo with low resolution
A bone without mineral
A winter without snow
A day without light.
Empty.
Devoid of life.
Meaningless.
Tragic.

This is just a fraction of what you mean to me.

Arrrrr!

i had a bunch of textas and i don't know where they are.
A set of ten connector pens which are the best by far --
Now finally it's time to use them, they've just disappeared!
And when i find them, they've gone dry -- isn't that so weird?
Instead i found a pack of 10 -- The Original Texta
They'll have to do, for i must ...work, or fall behind. Graaaa!!!

And soon after, i found a want: a subtle pair of jaws.
The aching, stinging pain of skin poked underneath my claws
When i returned, (no jaws were found) i saw my old art box --
Where i had kept connector pens; beneath the keys and locks!
