"The Road of Sorrows" - a song I didn't compose myself but did sing.

He walked the road of sorrows,
He bore the weight of all my tears.
He took my anguish on his back
And shouldered every fear.

The love that drove him onward
Would pave the way with every crimson stone.
He walked the road of sorrows,
As he bore my cross alone.

He walked the road of sorrows,
He slowly climbed that hill of death,
He spoke of mercy and forgiveness
With every dying breath!

The blood that stained the pathway
Has paid the price for all my sinful shame.
He walked the road of sorrows
With the cross that bears my name...!

How could I know the mystery of grace?
How love could hold him there, dying in my place?
But every time I see those laboured footsteps,
All his sufferring... I know I owe him everything.

He walked the road of sorrows
He bore my cross to calvary
He walked the road of sorrows...
And he walked... that road... for me!
