"Philos" -- a poem for RaDianCe (Christmas 2007)
It originated from a half tune I had in my head for a short while. Then it became a poem.
Do you even have the faintest clue
Of how much I just love being with you?
I hope to spend all of eternity
Chilling out with everybody...
Time could pass and I won't notice
Decades fall; there'd be no difference --
Because when we are all together,
There's nothing wicked I remember.
So don't you ever think for one jot:
'Cause it won't be true to the last dot!
That I'm unhappy 'cause you're around --
It's you who keep my feet on the ground.
Do you even have the faintest clue
Of how much I just love being with you?
I hope to spend all of eternity
Chilling out with everybody...
Time could pass and I won't notice
Decades fall; there'd be no difference --
Because when we are all together,
There's nothing wicked I remember.
So don't you ever think for one jot:
'Cause it won't be true to the last dot!
That I'm unhappy 'cause you're around --
It's you who keep my feet on the ground.
